Suzhou Roc-Master Piping Solutions Ltd. has been awarded the bolt framework agreement for the Attawi Gas Processing Plant Project in Iraq by CNPC Engineering & Construction Corporation (CPECC). This marks another major milestone for Roc-Master in the overseas high-end oil & gas equipment market, and a further step in advancing China's Belt and Road energy cooperation strategy.
Project at a Glance
The Attawi project is CPECC's first-ever EPSCC (Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Construction & Commissioning) contract directly awarded by TotalEnergies. Signed on September 14, 2025, in the presence of the Iraqi Prime Minister, the project is valued at USD 1.601 billion — a record single contract for CPECC in the Iraqi market.
Location: 60 km west of Basra, within the Attawi oilfield
Capacity: 3.3 billion m³/year associated gas processing
Scope: Gas processing train, 140 MW power station, and utilities
Duration: 39 months
